My husband and I got married up in the sky at 35,000'. As a surprise for my mother, we took our vows on an airplane traveling from Los Angeles to Seattle. (Thank you BIG to Alaska Airlines for helping make this possible. Best airline ever!)

My mother was ill with stage 4 cancer. On her bucket list she wanted to do one last mother daughter trip and she wanted to see me marry my fiancée. We full filled her wishes up in the sky and were wed somewhere over Washington. Something even more beautiful developed from the wedding. The story went viral and my mother became an inspiration to others fighting cancer.
