My name is Kristy, I am 24 years old. Born in Holland, grew up in Papua New Guinea, but moved to Australia when I was 10 years old, lived there for 12 years and went exploring through Europe for a year and am now back in Brisbane.. yet having moved around so many places I'd say travel is part of my upbringing.
Travel is a huuge part of my life, currently on a bit of a hiatus as I got a pretty rad opportunity to work in the web development field - which later on could mean more travel and more work. Fingers crossed.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've never actually used it before, I have stayed with friends, but never done it through this website. I love meeting people though, and as I never have friend (in my city anyway!) who want to come traveling with me seems like a good way to meet people when you're traveling solo!

Interests

I love food. A lot. Like, a lot a lot. Eating it. Cooking it. Thinking about it. Anyway, I digress. I also love snowboarding and spend just as much time thinking about snowboarding as I do about food.
My dream job is snowboard designer, or anything creative and designy within the action sports industry.
I like music a lot too.
We've already established travel. And meeting people.
