HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I finally, FINALLY had my own place this last year and it was glorious. I couch surfed the shit outta that pull-out couch just to send the good karma back into the world that I had received on my couch surfing adventures. All those couch surfers were actually friends and acquaintances so you won't see their reviews below, but let me assure you the sheets were fresh, the spare towels clean and the good times rockin.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm actually currently couch surfing across the US on a jetBlue pass. It's been AMAZING. I once couch surfed on someone's yacht, that was sweet action. I also take part in a lot of LA couch surfing among my friends who swear they don't mind. I cook for them and clean their dishes and walk their dogs, so I'm pretty handy.

I've asked several random strangers to my place...not like in a slummy, "I'm hitting on you" way, but in a friendly "if you need a place to crash" kind of way. No recent takers. Perhaps my "friendly" reads "slummy". hmm.

Centres d'intérêt

Flight of the Conchords was an obsession for a while. Making movies. Doing head stands - not hand stands. Those require arm muscles. Eating grapes.

Wes Anderson wonderfully weird. City of God. La Communidad. I'm obsessed with newspapers and not that online shit, like the real, in my hands, helping to destroy the environment, paper kind. I get antsy if I'm eating alone without one.

I was 10. I was in my living room watching our fuzzy tv screen. Clark Kent of tv's Superman appeared without his shirt. Nothing was quite the same after that.
