Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
to couch and be couched
Having informally couch surfed and hosted for years, I finally made it official in Greece (with the incomparable Georgios & Magalie) and haven't looked back. Panama City with Victoria (the hostess with the mostest) and Cameron was fabulous, and had an amazing time in South Africa and India, with special shout outs to the Queens of MFing (ask them) Clair and Divya in Cape Town and the inimitable Sharma family in Delhi. Now that I have a flat in the best location in DC, I'm passing on the hospitality -- and now with Britt you get two hosts for the price of one!
things that at least one of us likes:
delicious vegetarian food, festivals, hefeweizen, wine, board/card games, irony, constitutional law, dance!, Harry Potter, soccer, snowboarding, spy movies, random cultural differences, musical theater, grocery stores, SCUBA, lakes, making up words, normative philosophy, painting/crafts, international development and microfinance, hiking, politics & world affairs, quests & wild goose chases, photography, cooking, outdoor food & flea markets, yada yada yada
