ABOUT ME

Hello from Australia! ...not really coz I'm actually somewhere in Europe right now, but yes, I was born in Australia to pure blooded Macedonian ancestors and i need to update my profile now because I left Oz about 7 months ago.

So here goes... I quit my job to come to Europe, I have had an absolutely AWESOME time here so far. I hate it when people ask me what I do for work because the answer is now, "I'm unemployed"... which then leads to an awkward silence followed by several tumbleweeds... but I DID work in a casino for 4 years where I saw some ludicrously large sums of money being gambled away, all while I was dreaming up what an amazing travelling experience I could have if they just actually gave that money to me. So while slaving away to save money for my future journey it did teach me that I never want to be a greedy, negative, materialistic person.

I love my music and a definate highlight travelling all over Europe has been the amazing number of shithot gigs and festivals that I have had an opportunity to attend that I would never in a million years get to experience in Australia.

I was meant to return home after 6 months but forfeited my return airfare simply because I havn't finished travelling.. my current mission is to make it through Scotland and Ireland without freezing my tits off.. because I have to be honest, it's SO bloody cold, I never even saw snow before I came here! haha

I spent most of my travels so far through Eastern Europe which was so awesome I plan to return again in the future. I found a whole bunch of lost relatives in Macedonia which made my journey through Europe so much more unbelievable...

This has been my first time overseas and backpacking... an experience and decision I will never regret for the rest of my life. This was something so far out of my comfort zone that I've just learnt so much and really feel as though I have achieved something which is more than I can say for the 100 different courses of study that I've deferred back home coz I couldn't make up my mind about what I wanted to do. When I go home I want to add another course of study to that list - a second language... because I only just realised how embarrassing it is only being able to speak english... and even sometimes I can't even do that coz I have to ask Scottish people to repeat themselves.

So anyway, I love angels and talking about life in general, I sometimes think about the universe so much that I momentarily freak out and have to think about something else. I'm not morbid at all it's just something that interests me a lot =) I definately believe in Angels and life after death, so feel free to throw in your 2 cents on that topic of conversation, I like to know what other people think =)

The rest of my time here has been spent (apart from awe inspiring adventures) contemplating my life and what the hell I'm doing with it.. and after 7 months I have come to the conclusion that I still have absolutely no idea what i'm doing with it. So I'm happy to keep travelling & admiring this beautiful world around us in order to avoid that difficult question until i really have to face the reality of it when I come to the realization that I'm still working shithouse jobs.

Couchsurfing is awesome and I have met a lot of beautiful people along the way =) oh.. and I don't smoke in case you were wondering and I am a clean person who will treat your couch/house with respect.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe we are all just souls having a human experience... =) I am fascinated with life itself and because of this I've reached a point in my life where I don't want to leave here with my only understanding of this earth being limited to the most isolated city in the world... Perth, Australia. Although it is beautiful =) I want to find and visit all 7 Shiva energy stones located all over the world.

Interests

I love meeting new people and travelling solo has been one of the best ways for me to do this. My current 3 passions in life are music, art and sport. I have developed many other passions through travelling and other couch surfers have definately played a part in that =) I love to get out to the countryside, the ocean and find places that are naturally beautiful. I'm hoping to hike and ride around the mountains and islands and really see more to Europe by taking the road less travelled.

too many to list here!!!! I love my alternative music, it makes my journey to Europe so much more exciting that I get to attend all these huge amazing music festivals that we just don't get in Australia and to meet music lovers all over the world.

To be honest.. these days, I dont really watch tv coz I realise there is so much better stuff i could be doing with my time other than growing a fat arse on my couch. Also... with all the fear they pump into you on the news, I would never have actually left my house to embark on this journey and now I can honestly say that I feel as if eastern europe is actually much safer than Australia.
