My name is Krzysztof, and I`m 19-years old. I was born in Poland but grew up in Germany. This year, I passed my A-level exams. I plan to study aerospace engineering in Germany. But before I start my studies, I would like to travel a bit, get some experience, meet new people and cultures, and, along the way, improve my English, which I will need for my future studies. Of course, I would like to have some fun. ;)
Beside playing trumpet, taking dance lessons (Standard and Latin competition ballroom dances) or riding my motorbike/bike, I spend my free time reading (adventure, technical) books, cooking and doing sports. Due to the fact that I grew up in a bilingual and bicultural surrounding, I`m open minded to new cultures.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

Well, I wouldn’t say that that I don’t like sightseeing and that I am not interested in “must-to-see-it” tourists’ attractions. But I am even more eager to learn about all the small things that would never be written about on a Wikipedia page or in a travel book. I like to dive in headfirst into another culture.

I have often traveled surrounded by my friends and my family. But this is like travelling in a safe little bubble. I think that showing up at a stranger’s home, having beers with them, and sleeping on their couches will be a pretty intense thing to do for me.

I hope that I will get to know my hosts, to learn who they are, and that they will be also interested in where I come from.

Música, películas y libros

My favorite movie is the first part of the "Pirates of the Caribben" and my favorite book is the Thriller "Fünf" by the Austrian Author Ursula Poznanski.
So this was easy, but music... It is hard to declare one kind of music as my favorite, because I listen to nearly all kind of it.
