I’m Chris / Krzysztof, a 24-year-old computer science student from Poland with a passion for photography, hiking, and meeting people from all walks of life. Poland is my home, but Switzerland is the country I’ve spent the most time in outside of it — mostly during holidays, working summer jobs, exploring the Alps, and visiting my family. I love the feeling of being in the mountains and capturing moments with my camera.
When I’m not outdoors, I’m usually working on personal projects or building websites (if you ever need one, I’m happy to help!). I believe travel is not just about seeing places, but about connecting with the people who live there.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’m back in Switzerland and my current stay ends on August 13th, 2025. I’m looking for a place to stay in the Graubünden region so I can keep exploring. I have a BÜGA pass (public transport card for the whole canton) valid until August 30th, 2025, and I want to make the most of it by hiking, visiting towns, and taking photos for my website: www.kgniewek.pics.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I’ve built my own online gallery of travel photography - www.kgniewek.pics. It’s a growing collection of landscapes, and moments I’ve captured over the years while hiking and traveling. I’m proud of it because it’s not only a personal memory bank but also a way to share the beauty I’ve seen with others.

If I stay with you, I’ll be respectful of your space, keep things tidy, and bring good conversation. I try not to be a burden and will usually be out most of the day after breakfast. In return, I can help you build a simple website.
