I dream of one day living near the ocean. But before I settle down as a bum on the beach - I want to see the world, a goal I am working toward achieving in the near future.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love meeting new people, it is my favorite part of traveling. Seeing the sights is nice, but it is through the people that you meet, and the experiences you share with them that is truly the adventure.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Unfortunately I've not had the ability to really host because I've not been in a situation where I have a place of my own to open my doors up to surfers.. however, even just through local meetups I have had the privilege to meet many incredible people, and form some friendships that, I'm sure will last a lifetime.

Interests

I love a good book, and a good conversation with an old friend, or new one. ;)
I love to see new places, trying new food.
Taking, foreign to me, public transportation, and alternating between the views outside and the views inside.
Being a complete tourist - down to the hundred pictures of whatever-the-local-attraction-happens-to-be; and/or ignoring the landmarks, and enjoying the local experience, in a quiet personal setting..
I love being indoors, and I love the outdoors.
Finding some little bit of joy in every situation.

Currently very much into Dr. Who!
Jonathan Safran Froer is incredible.
Gone with the Wind - is a favorite. Both book and movie. Love love love Ferris Beuller's Day Off. And pretty much anything by Steinbeck.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The world is amazing and beautiful - and I have only seen a small part of it. I want to see more! People are amazing - and I have met some really good ones. :)
