I was born in Moscow but grew up in California, USA, since I was 10 years old. I enjoy mountaineering, climbing, skiing and painting. I love cooking so, if we get a chance to meet, I would be happy to prepare dinner at home or take you out for lunch. Always excited to meet new people, learn new languages and embrace different cultures.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I first came to Europe in late February to join a humanitarian organisation and help Ukrainian refugees evacuating from the cities destroyed in the war. After this three months, my Shengen visa expired, but I am able to stay in France for 3 more months, where I hope to find another organization to help with the damage caused by the war in Ukraine, if this is possible.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Fully organised a home welcoming up to 35 Ukrainian refugees since the start of the war, helped with delivering food and supplies to the Ukrainian border and evacuating families who have crossed the border into Slovakia. Helping them secure refugee status and residency permits has been rewarding, because it gives people new hopes and opportunities in this difficult time.
