ABOUT ME

i am back to st.petersburg until the end of september. i am happy to show you around pushkin / pavlovsk, suburbs of st.petersburg where i live.

I was born in the northern capital of Russia, St.Petersburg, city of white nights in summer and dark days in winter. After graduation from University in my home city, I worked for a trade fairs company for 5,5 years doing some stuff for international projects.
I still don't know exactly why my life turned so greatly but now I am a University student of MA degree in Tokyo, Japan and I am researching about young Japanese farmers))) It is my third year in the country of a rising sun and I enjoy my life here!
For my field work I travel around Japan's rural areas a lot. Farming as volunteer is fun and a part of my research as well!
In Tokyo I enjoy both international community and meeting Japanese people and learning their culture. Particularly I am interested in tea ceremony, ceramics, Japanese traditional dance and theater.
Interestingly, I also started to be interested in my own Russian culture here in Japan, especially literature, dance and songs.

I enjoy active life and silence in balance.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I once traveled with CouchSurfing. With my friend Anna we went to Scotland. It was fun! Our host was a fantastic guy - ornithologist and tango dancer. He is somewhere in between Scotland, Denmark and Argentina right now.
