I'm Ksenia or Xenia (I prefer both versions), and for more than 20 years I lived in Saint-Petersburg known as the city of white nights. In 2022, I moved to Helsingborg, Sweden to study “Strategic Communication” at a Master’s degree and pursue my dream of leaving abroad.

Besides my hobbies, I am a Head of PR in a Finnish manufacturing company. During past 5 years I had been building up the PR department from scratch. In a nutshell, I help startups understand their core values/mission, etc. and express them to the public by using various marketing instruments. Thanks to the this professional experience, I became a multifunctional specialist capable of creating websites, organising events, or even writing video scripts.  So, if you need some recommendations, just ask me ;)

I distinctly realize now - each person we met brings a warmth in your life or experience, and how important it is to find people who bring you both. I want to say that life is search. Search of inspiration, knowledge, people who will share their knowledge. That's why I'm on Couchsurfing. I believe that I can find people so ardently aspiring adventures as well as those who want to get new emotions and enrich their experience here.

Originally, I am from the Caucasus region, the beauty of which once stole my heart and converted my love for nature into passion in mountain trekking. By the way, 2 years ago was my first and successful attempt to ascend at the top of Elbrus, the highest mountain in Europe! Is anyone here the same nature lover?

Besides, graphic design and architecture photography became my genuine passion since the University times. Moreover,  the passion for graphic design converted into real professional skills helping me to create marketing materials for companies. My colleagues often told me that I have an eye for a good design.

Music! That’s my favourite topic ever! :)
I might be called "melomaniac" in a way, however there are genres that stood up out of everything else: metalcore, progressive metal, indie rock, indie folk.
Need to mention that I was raised by father who is a big fan of most of the popular rock bands such as Rammstein, Scorpions, Deep Purple, Pink Floyd, etc.

I cannot live without getting new experiences, trying out new things, and, basically, getting refreshed from daily live.

For this reason, I’ve tried a lot of things already: skydiving, paragliding, bungee jumping, hiking, yachting, zip line, cycling, and a lot of other stuff :)

And there are so many plans ahead!

Sometimes I think that trying something new is generally my a hobby - a favorite hobby that speaks from my very essence of a researcher and experimenter
