I am Kseniia!

for the first 19 years of my life i have never had a chance to actually leave my hometown for a day, even tho i always dreamed of traveling around the world and seeing people&places.

after i decided to break a cycle, my life changed — first I visited other big cities in my country, and then I got the opportunity to be an exchange student in Lithuania! it was, without exaggeration, a pure culture shock haha
after half a year in Lithuania, i went home, and in next 2 month i got another chance — to live in Germany for a year as an exchange student, and then another chance... during the last half a year i was in Poland, and this was a last chance of a kind. I am truly grateful for this experience and have tons of stories to share :)

I have always been incredibly interested in learning about countries through the lens of the inhabitants. traveling in the usual way, I was always interested in what people around me think about their country — what they are proud of, what problems they see, what they aspire to. I was always afraid to ask strangers. now, I decided to try couchsurfing, because I don't want to miss any more opportunities to learn more about the surroundings! ☀️
