ABOUT ME

Hey, I am the personification of a long time student in my early 30ties. I study philosophy for a really long time now, but maybe i will never finish uni.
I consider myself very open minded. I do not fit in very well in the efficiency orientated society. I live a quite non-confrom life and I am very happy with that. I see myself as queer feminist polyamorous under achiever, who is happy with his life. I love to travel and to meet new exciting people. There is not much better in the world than sharing stories and experiences.

PHILOSOPHY

Do not conform. Destroy what destroys you. Live life to the fullest and have fun.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I try to host as much as possible, but that always depends on in which condition my home is at the moment. Sometimes I am a little bit messy and do not expect from anybody to stay in messy home.
I plan to couchsurf a lot more in the future, but have not done so much right now.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Until now I had one guest. It was a really nice experience and i plan to host more often.
I really want to try to surf couches, as I think this could be a really interessting experience too.

Interests

I am really into philosophy, especially animal ethics, music (!), traveling, movies and literature.
There are too many bands i enjoy to list them here, but lets say, I started with crude punkrock and hardcore, which is still my favorite music style.

Music, Movies, and Books

Old School Hardcore like Minor Threat, some Grindcore and Fastcore like Yacöpsae or Infest, cheesy Dubstep and House like Deadmau5, Torquex or Downlink, over dramatic piano pop like Amanda Palmer or Regina Spektor, some Indie Bands like Interpol or Strand of Oaks. Lately i start to get into folk rock like The Frightened Rabbit oder the Mountain Goats. So in general i listen to almost everything.
I really enjoy movies like Annie Hall, Stalker, Indiana Jones and Star Wars Trilogies, but like artsy stuff too.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I traveled Cuba in midst hurricane season. We rented a car and had to flee from the nearing storm. That was pretty exciting but frightening also. Cubans are so friendliy, they helped us in every way possible, even they were in danger themselves.

Teach, Learn, Share

I don't think that i can teach any particular topic, but I am very good at discussing topics from different points of view. So, if you want to discuss anything I am always up to a good conversation.
