About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Experience new things and meet interesting people

ABOUT ME

I was born in Canada and lived there for 23 years. After graduating with a BSc in Math, I decided to move to Belgium. My parents were both from Belgium and I wanted to experience new things, discover more about myself, and get to know my extended family better. After doing some traveling in Europe, I found myself a job. I also went back to school for a masters and am now working as an analyst. I love to travel and discover new things.

PHILOSOPHY

Try to stay on the sunny side of life, positive and optimistic...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am new to CS. Right now, I live in a small appartment without a couch. So, hosting is not really possible right now. But I hope to move by the end of the year, then this will most likely be a possibility.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am new to CS. But I have a friend who has hosted and surfed many times. I have only heard good things about it.

Music, Movies, and Books

love to watch movies of all kinds.
also love all types of music.
I love to read novels. But am currently reading measure what matters, inner excellence and the first book in the 'girl with the dragon tattoo series.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went to Japan once with school. It was such a great experience to visit a place with so many cultural differences. Even the restaurant chains we have at home were different over there. I saw many temples, celebrated with the locals with fireworks too. It was amazing.

Teach, Learn, Share

Travelling and exploring is a great way to learn not only about different things and people, but also about yourself and your likes or dislikes. I have been living abroad for more than 4 years now. I have learned and grown so much from the experience even though it is not always easy. I would recommend it to everyone.

Countries I’ve Visited
