About Me
Hi, new friend! My name is Ksenia, and I'm an alcoholic. Joking. I'm a designer, and this diagnosis is even worse. Significant part of my life is related with art. Also I like to tell wierd jokes, and yet more wierd that people find them funny. I like, encourage and from time to time come up with crazy (but fun) ideas that leads to a new unforgettable adventures. Oh, I really love crazy and hilarious adventures! And not less I love quiet time with an interesting person. I like to travel and see new cities, but even more I like to meet new friends, get acquainted with the new culture and walk on the no-longer-unknown streets.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I believe that all the people in the world were meant to be together, share dreams and thoughts, to be friends and not to be divided by borders or nations. So I came on Couchsurfing to overcome these borders, make new friends from a strangers and meet new awesome people all over the world.
Interests
Art is the greatest interest in my life. Design (especially graphic design - it's also my work), painting, handmade... Create something new, share my inner world. And to know the inner world of the others, feel their pain or passion, their doubts and joy, to know their life through their art.
But art isn't my only interest. I like meeting new people, see new places, listen to good music. I adore video games, especially indie and platformers. I like to walk in abandoned places - they have their own spirit, something old and forgotten, yet somehow still alive. I like to have fun with friends, go to the bar and have some beer, or just sit on the grass, drinking wine or tea and giving names to the clouds. I like vegan cooking (I'm good- okay-okay, I'm not bad at pasta, withal in different variations). And I really, really adore cycling!

Music, Movies, and Books
This one was a BIG part of text (though it's still big), but I dicided to shorten it mostly to names (and I'll gladly discuss anything from here in a converastion).
Music: punk, rock and some metal. My local country bands - Lumen, FPG, Йорш (Yorsh), and foreign bands - Rise Against, Anti-Flag. So most of them are punk, and I adore going on their concerts, but also I love Metallica and local folk band Кошка Сашка (Koshka Sashka).
Movies: art house (in particular Gus Van Sant works), but it's for a certain mood. Tim Burton's "Big Fish", cyberpunk and noir in generally and "Blade Runner" and "Dark City" in particular, American History X, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, animation by Hayao Miyazaki, Stand by Me, 3 Idiots, The Dark Knight. And "The Divide" (2011), which was little-known and almost no one liked it. Also old comedies with Jackie Chan (and who doesn't love them?) and Marvel's Avengers universe when I want some action.
TV-series: Sons of Anarchy, Oz (by Tom Fontana), Black Books, Everybody Hates Chris, Black Sails, Expanse, Gotham, Prison Break, Lost. If anime counts, then my once-and-forever love is One Piece.
Books: George Orwell's "1984", Chuck Palahniuk's "Choke", Aldous Huxley's "Brave New World", Frederic Beigbeder's "99 Francs", Ray Bradbury's "Fahrenheit 451", "Martian Chronicles" and his science fiction short stories. And I really adore Terry Pratchett and his "Diskworld" book series! Especially Rincewind story arc.
Video games: small and big indies, platformers, some old games, some series and AAA-titles. Kyrandia, Limbo, The Fall, Rayman (old and new), Burnout Paradise, Assassin's Creed, Mirror's Edge, Dreamfall, Heavy Rain, and my favorite game - Beyond Good & Evil.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
There was not yet been significant enough moment in my life to call it "the most amazing thing". But life is made of small things, so I'd note a couple of things that are amazing to me and made an indelible impression. It's my first travel by hitchhiking, being on a rock concert for the first time, and, yes, going vegan. And all of the sunrises that I met - because each of them is unique, even sitting on the roof of 12-storey building, or cycling in the sleeping city, or simply chatting with friends on the balcony.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach the very basics of drawing, tell a few interesting facts about the arts and share some vegan recipes. Oh, and I can teach some Russian filthy language - despite I don't use it in a daily tongue, I know the words (I told about my weird sense of humor, right?).
I'd like to learn to play the guitar and learn Esperanto (which I started, but already forgot).
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can offer the same as my friends when I come to visit them - I can wash dishes or cook some vagan food (not sure if you'll live to tell the tale, but I'll do my best to cook it good). =) But seriously it's less that I can do for your hospitality.
I also can bring beer, or something to drink - just tell me what you prefer, because I'm always happy to share a drink. =D
And of course friendship - it's what I'd really love, want and can share.
