I'm working on transitioning to a career in urban planning. I have a particular interest in community redevelopment. Right now I live in Joliet, but am planning on moving back to Chicago in the near future. I'm left handed and born on the 4th of July.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've done more hosting than surfing. My favorite experience was when a friend of a friend from Slovakia stayed with me in Chicago for a few days. It was great learning about Slovakia and his experiences in America.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The best trip I've taken was an urban planning trip to Detroit. We explored the city and talked with community leaders and examined Detroit's planning options for the future. Everyone thinks I'm joking, but I loved Detroit.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm pretty knowledgeable about organic gardening (intensive gardening, seed saving, composting). I can also teach you all you want to know about urban planning or trends in public transportation.

I love to learn. Anything you can share would be wonderful (although maybe teaching me a little about art would be the most wonderful).
