ABOUT ME

Luis and I are low key and love love love to meet and learn about new people, especially over wine, coffee, beer, etc. We're traveling Europe for 3 months before starting afresh in Austin, TX. We used to live in San Francisco, but we live on the road for now and our belongings live in storage!

So far in our trip, we've had the great fortune of staying with friends and friends of friends throughout France and Spain and have loved having a local contact while traveling. We're new to the CouchSurfing community but it sounds like the best way to meet new & interesting people and to have more of a local experience throughout our trip.

I grew up in Texas, went to school in New York, spent college summers in Alaska, lived in the Bay Area in California for 10 years and will settle in Austin, TX upon our return to the US. Luis hails from Lima, Peru and has lived in the US for 7 years. He loves South American culture, movies, music, basketball, and independent film, but not necessarily in that order. We've been married for 2 years and promised each other early in our relationship that we would travel Europe...and are so happy to be doing it!

We hope to meet some great people and sleep on some comfy couches throughout our trip. Once we're settled in Austin, TX, we'll have couches for others to surf.
