About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Planning my trip to Argentina for next winter.

ABOUT ME

I can't be still! Have certainly an addiction to travelling, since I was 18 never lived longer than a year in the same place. Love learning, trying and experiencing new things. Love loving, love living.
I'm stubborn, determined for big decisions but indecisive for small daily things. I need the sea and the mountains around; I'm very interested in people, in their way of seeing the world, in their languages & beliefs. I don't have much free time because of my job but anyway you're very welcome!

PHILOSOPHY

Listen my inner voice. I reckon I hear it whenever my thoughts and feelings meet.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've been doing a bit of couchsurfing but that was before I knew about this site. It was in the "old" way, I met some very friendly & generous people by chance on some of my trips and it just happened, they welcomed me to stay in their house!I'll never forget when I got to Honningsvaag (North Norway)late in the evening with a small airplane from Tromso. I never figured up there would be no buses to the city. The surroundings looked like a vast desert of soil and I tried to find out where I was in a small dusty map on the side of the road. A man asked me where I was going, I said "to North Cape" and he laughed. "North Cape is far from here, you need to get to the city first". I said yes when he offered me a lift, I was excited, eleven at night and the sun was shining above the reddish brown landscape. Once in the city he told me there was no transport up to North Cape, it was late. I asked how long it would take to walk all the way up and he laughed again. He must have realized how much I wanted to get there then, not by next day; I had taken three flights, had been travelling all day and wanted to get there as if I had some sort of mission. He talked to a friend and came back to tell me they could drive me up, they hadn't been there for a long time and the weather was nice & warm so they would take a walk there. We went up, it was one of the most crazy experiencies in my life. The sea, the sun above the horizon at midnight. They showed me the small villages around, people fishing, drinking coffee and playing cards at two in the morning! On the way back they asked me where I was gonna sleep. I said I had my sleeping bag so they could just drop me anywhere, it was warm and apart from hundreds of reindeer there was nobody. They smiled again and kindly invited me to stay over at their place. It was the first invitation I received in my life of two strangers, they trusted me and I decided to trust them too. And that was the beginning of it all.
