My name is Kaitlin, I'm 20 years old. I love to travel, try new things and learn about other cultures. I love cooking, being outdoors and running/walking with my dog! Right now I'm studying in Granada, Spain trying to learn spanish..however I'm from California, USA.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm new to the CS community so I'm trying to figure out how all this works. As of now I'm just looking for places to stay as I travel, but hopefully when I return to LA my roommates will agree to open up our couch to couch surfers.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've never couch surfed myself, but I've had friends who have done it. Can't wait to try it out!

Interests

Cooking, finding good deals, good movies, the changing of the seasons, coffee and tea, my dog, being with friends and family, traveling, reading, running, hiking, anything about China, spanish, playing tennis and trying to play racquetball.

Right now I am reading Three Cups of Tea by Greg Mortenson and David Oliver Relin...I'll let you know how it turns out.

Music- I love the Stars and lately i've really been into Bon Iver.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I don't know if this is amazing and I can't think of anything better right now, but last week I hiked in the La Alpujarra, which is part of the Sierra Nevadas in Spain. It was so beautiful, I definitely want to go back!
