Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Diego and I have enjoyed hosting CouchSurfers over the last year as we lived the good life in the stunning Eje Cafetera of Colombia. We are now in a whirlwind of visiting family and friends in Bogota (after a great couple of months exploring some amazing beaches, forests and cute wee towns) before making the big move back to New Zealand.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We have hosted people from around the world as they explored Colombia, and met and made friends with the lovely locals from Manizales who take part in CS activities. Now we are hoping to be surfers ourselves if someone will have us!

Interests

Exploring and going on adventures at home or around the world. Getting stuck into organic vege gardening. Baking up a storm. Hearing live music. Enjoying the birds, butterflies and fireflies and the sunsets from our new wee cottage outside Manizales, Colombia. Being active through yoga, dancing and walking. Hanging out with interesting people. Learning.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A couple of magic moments would include wandering around San Augustin in the South of Colombia, being captivated by Sigur Ros at a gig in Auckland, and meditating right at the top of the Himalaya's in Ladakh, India.
