Hello there,

My name is Kübra and I'm from Turkey. I live in Ankara, which is the capital of Turkey, with my family. I have three siblings and a dog. I love traveling. I do travel a lot with my family, but I also love traveling with my friends. So far I've been to Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, The United States, Bosnia, Croatia, Serbia, and Saudi Arabia. I also traveled around Turkey. I would like to explore Europe. This summer, I will be traveling to some countries in Europe such as France, Italy, Holland, and Belgium. In spring break, I'm planning to visit Spain.

I'm an English prep school instructor and working at a Private University in Turkey. I love my job a lot. I love being a teacher and sharing my experiences and knowledge with my students. I have a friendly personality, so being a teacher suits me very well. Next year, I'll start studying for a master's degree in English Language Teaching. My main goal is to be a leading professor in my field in the future.

I'm an active person. I'm good at acting, singing and socializing. Throughout my school years, I acted in school plays, sang at special nights. I love singing in English and some of my favorite singers are Sam Smith, Ed Sheeran, Charlie Puth and Taylor Swift. I love hanging out with my friends, and I do love going to the theatre and concerts.

I've heard that Couchsurfing is very popular in Europe and I would like to give it a try.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I've just signed up for Couchsurfing because I fell in love with the idea as soon as I heard it. I would like to give it a try and become an active member of Couchsurfing family. I would like to meet different people all around the world, introduce my culture to them and get exposed to their cultures as well. Traveling is seeing places and getting to know people. I know with Couchsurfing I'll be able to broaden my horizons easily. Thanks!

My favorite book series is Harry Potter. I've been a Potterhead since I was just a kid. I've read all the books both in Turkish and English, and I still read them from time to time.

My favorite tv show is Supernatural. I love Dean and Sam and their unique adventures.

I listen to different types of music but lately, I've been listening to Dua Lipa.

I have attended the Disney Cultural Exchange Program in Orlando, Florida in 2016. I worked for Walt Disney Company. I shared a flat with 4 Americans and worked with people from all around the world. That experience changed me in positive ways.
