Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

While studying in Wageningen, The Netherlands, my housemates introduced me to couchsurfing. We even dedicated a small room to host people. Currently, I'm studying in Delft, living in a smaller house so dedicating a special room is out of the question. However, I can show you around the Zuid-Holland area, touring around the country side on a bike is a special experience and one of my hobbies.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

---Surfing---
The hitch-hike through England, Scotland and Ireland in summer 2010 was a blast. Serious good fun, however it was quite hard to get couches last-minute while travelling.

Intereses

I enjoy rowing, hiking, lazy Sundays and being around friends. Furthermore I enjoy interesting stories and great movies. Energy and environmental related subjects.

Race-rowing for the last three years were challenging however the rewards in achieving my goals made me very happy.

During my holiday together with Huib, I was amazed with the kindness of the Scottish while we were hitchhiking. The offers if we would like to camp in their garden or eat together a meal was an eye-opener for me how hospitable people can be.
