About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Graduate 17th grade and go on a very long vacation!
ABOUT ME
I am currently finishing up my Master's of Science in Bioengineering degree at the University of Washington. Some of the activities I enjoy most are biking, hiking (scrambling to summits) and looking at maps and travel books.
Following graduation from high school in 2004, I traveled with my brother on Eurail for 3.5 months in Western and Central Europe, visiting 24 countries and countless sights along the way. All through college I've had the bug to go travel again. This summer, I am going to Norway for my older brother's wedding, traveling around Europe for a few weeks with my little brother, and then taking a plane to Tokyo to get my first taste of Asia, explore for a month or two, and then teach English for 7-8 months until I continue my trip with a friend from school into South Korea, China, and on into Southeast Asia and Australia/NZ. I can't wait to begin!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I seek to participate by volunteering my couch for the next couple of months before I begin traveling and then to spend quality time interacting with hosts as I travel the world. People tell me I am a good guest. :)
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I don't have any specific experiences yet because I am just starting. My brother and I stayed on the couches of our dad's friends a few of the nights we stayed in Europe, and it was great fun to talk to them and meet their families.
