ABOUT ME

I think outside the box so writing it inside the ('this') box would be hypocritical and I am not a hypocrite. So, back off!! Okay, kidding. It's anger management issues (I like my eggs 'over-easy' - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iuosfJ8Ki7Y). RELAX. Deep breath. Om. Ommmm.

Dragging this out wayy too much. Here goes, from what I hear from the people close to me (I couldn't really hear the ones that were far-away) is that I am an inquisitive, an adrenaline-addict and facetious. No I am not, that last part was a lie. Not a liar though!

We all have our crazies but reminiscing and sharing the anecdotes with like-minded souls and citizens of the planet is my interpretation of CS. For starters, how about a motor-bike slip that led to a complete snap of an arm on a deserted island in Thailand ..gettin operated on another island where I was transported to on a speedboat with news paper wrapped around my hand so it wouldn't drop off in the blue waters.. well too much happened for me to squeeze it all here..http://mkulin.tumblr.com/ (Follow me!)

PHILOSOPHY

"...Backwards only understood is but forwards lived be always must life". Now that this bright Danish philosopher has taught us this, why not learn from someones mistake and start living forward and experiencing the breadth of LIFE !

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have hosted people from all around the world here in California and almost all of them have been amazing experiences some worth remembering for a lifetime. I love the spirit and sense of community of CouchSurfing and it's only natural for me to be involved with CS. I am active in participating at local CS events in California as well as always making it a point to meet CS'ers each time I go on travels.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have hosted a ton of amazing people from all over the world and made some great friends for life! We are on a short sojourn through life and our mundane stuff keeps us occupied, leaving not enough to experience everything out there. CS is one avenue I have found to see the world through the eyes of other travelers, wanderers and surfers!

Exploring and inquiring about the cultural corner-stones and digging out the gem-stones of planet earth, or at least trying to do so :D
Silicon Valley and the Golden state allow me to do just that..sort of..

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

..getting through 6 hours with a completely snapped left arm without a pain killer or a phone or any sort of real communication with the medical transport and surgery staff..while transported on a speed boat with a make-shift newspaper cast holding by two complete snapped bones, to eventually sneak out of the hospital 48 hours after surgery in an ambulance to enjoy the NYE festivities in Koh Samui and light up a kite lantern and bring in the new year perched on a hill .. blah, blah
