I am currently finishing up the last 1.5 years of medical school, helped along by binge sessions of Scrubs. Working with recent refugee's to Philly to improve their access to the healthcare system. Occasionally, I moonlight as a singer-songwriter on Tuesday nights at a pub in center city, and sing with my school's choral group. I enjoy making healthy meals from scratch, power-lifting workouts, reading, skiing, and swing/blues dancing.

I am obsessed with NYC halal cart food ...the combo meal with white and red sauce is pure cocaine. It’s probably too late for me, save yourself!

I have been an expat/living abroad since 16, traveled a fair amount in Europe, North America and Asia, and couch-surfed a little bit during college.

However, since medical school happened, I find myself with less and less time to devote to traveling. I joined to start giving back a little, helping others travel cheaply and see the world like I did, and swap some stories in the process.

Books: I mostly read non fiction, not counting the copy of a Isabel Allende novel that I picked up from my mom’s book-club leftovers. I recently finished “Born to Run”, “Omnivore’s Dilemma” which were both absolutely fascinating.

TV: I like BBC Sherlock, House of Cards and the Walking Dead. And I know you will make fun of me, but I did enjoy the first two seasons of Revenge.

Music: Pandora calls it “pop/rock instrumentation, with folk influences, vocal harmony, and strings.” Think Jason Mraz, John Mayer and Jack Johnson, Ed Sheeran, Sam Smith, Maroon 5 or Coldplay.
