ABOUT ME

I work really hard and I long to be in the mountains turning a corner, on the beach with sand in my feets, ducking into a random dive bar...locals at that dive bar, looking out taxis a million miles from home, random cats and dogs, feeling the air at a new airport, realizing we are all different but not that different, quiet daybreaks when every things honest, no cell phone, kindness without verbal communication, sharing a laugh with someone I dont know, extra energy that comes from passion, the lump in my throat when I know Im blessed, cold beer, warm saki, hot cider with lotsa bourbon, seein a band from my town in far away venues, confirmation numbers, local food thats ridiculously good, drunk bike rides on the boardwalk, people watching, a hotel room you probably shouldn't have but glad you did, sick playlists from friends..

PHILOSOPHY

the golden rule. if no one broke that rule, we'd be good shape. my personal phil is a work in progress.

knowledge, man. not wasting a day. being stoked on the little things while looking at the big pic. travel travel travel. i gots some itchy feet. my hobbies include, but not limited to, backpacking, rock climbing, mountain bikes, cooking, philosophy, road trips, camping, wine...cheese. i love cheese...

movies-true romance, blow, apocalypse now, billy elliot, simon birch. sin city, goonies, shawshank, shrek, 40 yr old virgin,blue velvet, sideways, cape fear, ...any movie i work on:)

books- dont read a ton but like to listen to spiritual and inspirational books while driving or working. (sooo cheesie i know but it lifts me up sometimes. haha)

floating in a bay on my back watching the moon set in thailand, a river junction in remote yosemite, ocean like bath water in jamaica, thick ass fog with castles in the distance in scotland, trafalgar square in a really really weird mood, seeing del mccoury back to back with the steel pulse in sleeping bear dunes upper michigan, lost in utah mountains alone, 2 -7000+ mile solo roadtrips, havasu falls, meteor showers in northern arizona, a supernatural experience camping in lake powell, those are some good ones off the top. lets discuss....
