I'm a 28 year old American, who has just quit my job, along with my girlfriend, in order to do a 2 month road trip across America, then move to Australia for a year.
We want to experience all the diversity and beauty the United States has to offer, as well as meet other travelers like ourselves. We love to hike and and camp, as well as explore new cities and neighborhoods.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We want to use couchsurfing as a means of being financially capable of doing long-term travel, as well as having the enriching experience of meeting friendly people along the way. While we are grateful for a place to stay, a huge part of traveling for us is the opportunity to truly get to know the places we go by getting to know people who live in those places. For our part, we will also share our stories an experiences :).

Music, Movies, and Books

I have an eclectic taste in music. It often changes, right now I'm really into Electronic music. I do have 5 albums I would take to a deserted island: Kid A, OK Computer, Is This It, The xx, Currents. I love reading books and watching movies, but I find it difficult to compare them.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would be happy to teach computer programming, Chinese(mandarin), and cooking. I would love to learn anything that others are willing to share.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share my stories and fun. I would also love to share the burden having me stay there, I can clean and cook.
