Hello! So my name is Kura (star trek inspired), but I go by Kay. I am originally from S. California, but have lived in NY on and off for the last 5years. More on than off.
Currently I am an instructor at a French and Spanish immersion school in BK.
I love interacting with different cultures and the kids are from all over the world which is great. I speak a good amount of Spanish and understand a lot of Italian and French. I have survived and made monolingual friends from both backgrounds. The Russian is kind of iffy, but someday.

Its a nice way to save money and to meet new people. We have had a lot of people stay in our house over the years and its always fun to experience the different cultures and the mix.

兴趣

I love planning nothing and being surprised by what they day has to offer me. I also love planning nothing and laying in bed all day. Besides hanging out with friends and writing I don't have any particular interest.

Music is kind of hard to pin point, but with movies I want to end the night crying, laughing or crying again. Crying because of the beauty or out of fear. I love a good horror movie.

Books are also tough to pin point, but recently I read Middlesex. Eugenides and Kundera are my favorites currently.
