About Me

I am a 43 year old married father of 2. I have been married to my best friend Julie and love of my life for the last 21 years. I have a 19 year old daughter that is attending the University of Utah on a Speech and Debate scholarship and competes on the Debate team there. I have a 15 year old son that is a spitting image of me. He is the most kind hearted gentle giant of a kid that I have ever know. At 6'6, he gets lots of looks from people because he has such a baby face and a great personality to go with it. I have been in the sales and finance fields for the better part of 20 years, and am currently VP of sales for the company that I work for that specializes in selling wide range of products to the Public Safety sector (Police, Sheriff, Military and Fire)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on Couchsurfing for one reason.....Starting in March of 2016 and concluding in July, I will be walking across America in conjunction with our company's 30 year anniversary as well as to show support to the law enforcement, public safety and military groups along the way. I will be starting in Imperial Beach California and ending in Jacksonville Florida. Needless to say, I will need places along the way to stay when possible. Doesn't even have to be a couch. Being able to pitch a tent in your yard and grab a quick hot shower would be much appreciated as well.

Interests

My interest are spending time with my family, playing golf with my son and taking road trips. I fly a ton for work, but given the choice, I would rather drive so I can experience the adventure, rather than the destination. Just like life, it is more about getting there than actually arriving.
