Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Currently on holiday in New York, NY. Existing plans didn't work out and so I'm going to give couch surfing a shot!

Music - ALMOST anything but preferences in Rock, blues, jazz and indi rock.

Movies - Anything by Chris Nolan (Memento, Inception, Interstellar) and otherwise anything that will make you think.

Books - The Road, Mystic River, anything by David Gemmell and Bernard Cornwell.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am SUPER keen on getting off my ass to learn some new languages. I have some background in learning German so I'd love to either continue that or start fresh with Chinese (mandarin).

I'm not sure what I can teach but I'm sure I can shed some light on Aussie slang and culture. I can share my experiences of traveling through and living in Europe and South East Asia and my current work place provides a never ending torrent of crazy stories.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am a friendly and respectful person and keen to learn about various cultures and experiences from others.

I am a clean and low fuss person who doesn't need to be baby sat if a host is busy and I will try my best to be as little a burden as possible.
