My current mission objective is to flow through Europe documenting, exploring and most of all enjoying my experiences
I try to be as open to new experiences as I possibly can be. I understand that our opinions come directly from our past experience, so I try and create a massive variation within my own life so that I become less and less judgemental as time goes by. I believe that the only way to truly learn something is through your own experience. This is why I love couchsurfers!
I guess my personal philosophy is constantly trying to broaden my range of experience. Trying to do things differently all the time, in every area I can be involved in. Experiencing life moment by moment 'getting the feelers out'.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
at the moment I am just a hopeful. staying in Barcelona hoping to enjoy the comfort of some couches hahha but once I am home I would love to host!
I am only new to couchsurfers, so far all I have managed are a few rookie attempts at sending out couch requests to people that seem fun in Barcelona. So keen to get some proper couchsurfing experience though, and to host once I get home!
My favourite things to do are skateboarding, surfing, and snowboarding. These activities are my favourite because they have taught me invaluable lessons, and made me who I am. They fuel my desire for travel, inspire designs and creation within my life. I also really enjoy building wooden and concrete objects to skate, expanding my mental catalogue of spots, and filming+editing video. I spend my time trying to be as active and productive as possible, without being trapped in the 9-5 schedule that has everyone locked up. The things I am most interested in at the moment are architectural and landscape design, town planning, and the history and future of our planet and species.
Music, Movies, and Books
Acid dreams, The Brotherhood of Eternal Love, 1984, The Kite Runner. So so many books, smelling of rich mahogany.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Standing at my new local skatepark at Bar Beach, looking out over the perfect surf and knowing that I live in paradise. I have seen and admired plenty of amazing things overseas, but coming home is always the best. Realising how incredibly beautiful Newcastle's coastline is and getting back in the ocean. Being able to see my home with a fresh perspective is one of my favourite things about travelling.
