Hi, We are Tracee and Kurtis, both 24 years old, travelling and working our way through Europe, Canada and USA.
Both of us are new to couchsurfing and are extremely excited about this new experience. Couchsurfing is a brilliant tool and gift to everyone which we hope to continue passing along to our guests when we return home.
We are Kiwi's who love adventure, great food, culture, sport and experiencing what the world has to offer.
We both grew up in small towns in New Zealand where we gained our University Qualifications and University is where we both met.
We have been together for 6 years, are recently engaged and have spent the last year working in the UK and exploring Europe.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We decided to join Couchsurfing to meet new people, experience different cultures and delicacies and share our travel stories with our hosts, while sticking to a budget.
We both started travelling to meet and experience different cultures and nationalities, and improve ourselves as people through interaction with others. We like couchsurfing as it provides the opportunity to experience a destination as a local rather than a tourist and provides interaction with our hosts who we can introduce to New Zealand culture.
We respect others belongings and property so we will leave the place the way we found it.

Music: We are both into any type of music including Rap, Hip Hop, Rock and Easy Listening
Books: We normally read biography's and true stories.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Together we have been to alot of places and seen so many beautiful things but the most amazing thing we have done was to make the break from New Zealand to come over to Europe and experience a new lifestyle.
Leaving family and friends was extremely difficult but this is a once in a life time opportunity and we are glad that we have been able to experience so many beautiful places and meet so many amazing people.

What I Can Share with Hosts

We can share our past experiences from travelling and life in general. We can teach our hosts about the best places to go to in New Zealand, teach them about Maori Culture and what it means to us aswell as what it means to New Zealand.
Fun and humour as we both like to have a good laugh and are very entertaining people. We also love to cook so we are happy to cook our hosts a traditional New Zealand meal :)
