ABOUT ME

I'm a twenty seven year old permaculture farmer, social innovator, and general lover of life. Actually I don't like labels much so Im not really those things either. More than simply growing food, I am very interested in creating and living in a sustainable culture. Natural building, compost, herbs, food combinations for health. Im about that as well. I really like to just learn from everybody, people have a hidden child inside...I know you do.

I'm a mellow person. I love to talk to people about their lives and their experiences which is where i learn the most. I also love the outdoors. Every place I live, I seem to have a mountain in my backyard and/or an ocean in my front. Snowboarding, biking, or just being outside (especially mountains, but the sea is cool too, oo and I have a new found love for the prarie) is enjoyable for me. And Im pretty much always interested in new things places to visit and things to do.

PHILOSOPHY

Do to others as you would wish done to yourself. I have so many other philosophies as well...seriously lots. I would love to walk around and talk and listen to philosophy all the time.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At this time of my life I am trying to find and build community. Community doesn't have to be a specific location. It also doesn't have to be limited by where I go. So this website is a great way to do that. One thing life has showed me is that there are good people everywhere so I want to find them. But I am ready for a little settling down (haha) and will make Fort Collins a home base for a while where I can host people. I can't wait.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

It has been good, and i usually use my positive energy to find places to stay wherever i may be. They are many people into being happy, enjoying the moment and becoming more aware of their self and the world around them that i have some amazing connections everywhere.

Music, Movies, and Books

Just finished reading The Disposessed by Ursula K Leguin. Good book. Umm, I like documentaries a lot. Music..if its sounding good, I probably like it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Ive seen a group of people give life back to a dead creek. (Literally nothing green was growing).
Ive figured out how to be happy, but then I sometimes forget, which makes me laugh.
