ABOUT ME

It's funny to write something about yourself when not applying for a job, neither using a dating site. But I guess, you'd like to know, so here you go:
I would describe myself as "open-minded" and "outgoing", just like most CS members ;) You could also call me a cheerful workaholic. I do work a lot, but I also really enjoy my work (except for the masses of exams to correct...)However, I try to find as much time as possible to meet friends, enjoy nature, go out, go to the gym, read, sleep, take photos....the list is endless.
As a teacher, I am of course, almost all the time on vacation, so I travel a lot. And that's also my favorite hobby!

PHILOSOPHY

I would describe myself as a true optimist and I enjoy most of the things I am doing in life.
I try not to think too much about the future, but it's in my nature to plan and to organize things (like trips), including my life.
However, I've figured out that most things can't be planned so I'm trying to be a bit more relaxed about things and life in general.
"Gelassenheit" is the new "Zauberwort"!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Basically I go to as many Group meetings as I can! I really enjoy meeting people from all over the world, but I've also met a lot of interesting and adorable people from Hannover. Thanks to CS, my group of friends has expanded.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Unfortunately, I haven't made any real CS-experiences yet. I'd really like to host someone sometime, but my roommate is a little scared about people staying at our appartement. I am still trying to convince her of the oppotite.

I haven't surfed on any couches yet, because I've been travelling to places in order to visit people, so there's always been a private couch available. But this will change, too!

兴趣

My biggest passion is travelling. Has always been, will always be! As for my everyday life, I go to the gym, meet friends, go out ( I looooove to dance) and read. Books are really important to me! I also like to discuss current social or political problems with people also interested in this.
When the weather is nice, I enjoy being outside, having picknicks and bbqs, going swimming in the lake, biking, going for walks... and taking photos!
And I love photography - both taking and looking at photos. I also like many other kinds of art, so I enjoy going to exhibitions.

音乐、电影和书籍

I'm really into French music and films. The last film I saw was "Les petits mouchoirs" and I loved it!

As to music, I've got quite a big collection of French and Québecois music, everytime I am in France, I try to find new music. The last great albums I've discoved were by "Fergessen", "Brigitte" and "Jimmy Hunt".

I read all the time, mostly in French and English. I like different kinds of literature: serious dramas, comedies, crime novels,.... I'm reading the newest Elisabeth George at the moment (something light for the holidays). Before that I read "The Kite Runner" and "L'élégance du Herisson".

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I once flew in a military plane from Bangkok to Chiangmai because I know the mother of the pilote! That was quite exciting. And I really enjoyed a tandem skydive in Kiel.
But the most amazing thing I've done is travelling in Myanmar. It's a beautiful country with wonderful people.
