Overview
About Me
I'm a traveller, teacher and learner. I work for the half of the year and travel for the rest. I work in construction sector as translator. But I also teach Spanish and English in Turkey as well as when I travel.
My hometown is Istanbul but I mostly live abroad working or travelling during the year. I have visited UK, Venezuela and Libya for work purpose and have also travelled to more than 25 countries.
I'm also a writer. I write articles about Latin American politics and culture on a Turkish academic website.
I love learning new languages. I spend most of my time trying to say something in another language! It's a great way to learn about new cultures as well.
I try to live the life learning and at the same time enjoying it at most.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
When I travel what I do is try to learn the most of the culture. That's why it's much better to stay with the locals than in a hotel. I want to interchange the cultures while visiting a new place.
Interests
I like travelling and learning new languages. I've visited many countries, most of which in Latin America, to work and to travel.
I also have a bamboo bike, with which I travelled in South America.
I love researching about the world. I also publish what I learn about the world on a website in Turkey.
I surfed a few times, but I love it, although I'm no more than a passionate amateur surfer :)

I like all kinds of music actually, but maybe the reggeaton is the most fun music I listen to :)

I spent one month in the Amazon jungle with an indigenous guy, sleeping on the jungle floor, being bitten by the insects and having some days with no food!
