About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To see and experience culture through the eyes of locals
ABOUT ME
I'm from Washington D.C, but moved around a lot both (domestically and internationally) throughout my childhood. I recently graduated from the University of Colorado-Boulder, with a double-degree in English and German. I love to travel, try new foods, and experience new cultures. I plan on traveling for the next year with my boyfriend Sean. We are very open-minded and adventurous, and hope to be spontaneous with our travels. We're going to go with the flow, and look forward to meeting new people. When we return from our travels, we look forward to hosting travelers as well (karma - we must return the favor). I will be pursuing a career in higher education, and Sean is interested in the business field of marketing. We just began our year long journey around the world, and are excited to see as many places as possible.
PHILOSOPHY
Try to see the best in situations. It is important to be patient and positive. I live my life by being honest, and expect the same from others.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I am new to couchsurfing, but eager to get involved. Because my current living situation does not allow me to host "surfers", I am restricted to coffee/drink outings. Always willing to make a stranger a friend. Enjoy swapping travel stories with others. Love great conversation.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
We have no prior experience of couchsurfing, but have only heard positive and encouraging experiences.
Interests

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
My senior year of high school, I went to Vietnam/Cambodia with my family. I was amazed by Angkor Wat in Siem Riep, Cambodia. Walking through the ruins of an ancient civilization is amazing. The detail etched into stone is just breathtaking. I think it is amazing to imagine the life that just vanished from these temples.
