Take advantage of my time on this earth by learning everything I can, meeting friends, making connections, and always maintaining happiness. I want to experience all that I can with an open mind and heart ultimately ending with no regrets.

ABOUT ME

Despite the way my last name looks, it is pronounced "Wheatie," just like the cereal. Or "Weedy," like a crappy garden. You make the call. :)
I am a fun-loving, overall happy and optimistic person who just loves to have a good time! When I'm not spending time with my friends, I devour hot tamales and frozen yogurt sundaes, and I paint, run, and swim. After college I would like to either teach elementary school or do something with art, such as write and illustrate children's books or sell homemade art projects. Who knows!
I have two older siblings, one brother and one sister, and my family is really close. I grew up in small town Carmel, CA and had a childhood I wouldn't trade for any other with family members who are smart, loving, and hilarious! I definitely have the biggest sweet tooth in the family. Gold medal ribbon, mint chip ice cream, hot tamales and watermelon are just some of my very favorites.
I love meeting new people and having new experiences. I like to live with no regrets!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I will be spending the next year (Aug 2008-July 2009) studying in Spain at the University of Barcelona. I want to travel all over Europe, and if I stay with you, you can probably consider yourself welcome in California or Barcelona on my couch!
