ABOUT ME

I am interested in seeing, experiencing, and being everything possible. I spend every spare moment out in the sun. I love to bike, run, travel, dance, explore, think, BS, and procrastinate. I am a singer and a writer. I want to understand everything.

PHILOSOPHY

Panta Rei. I am a materialist, in the strictest sense of the word, and I live for the pursuit of happiness for myself and others.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have couchsurfed informally with a number of friends and friends-of-friends in the United States, sleeping on all manner of surfaces. In another year or two I want to couchsurf all over the world. If I ever get a house - or a yurt, or a comfortably abandoned building - I would love to host some couchsurfers myself. (Update: I currently do have space for at least 2 or 3 couchsurfers in my current place, close to both the University of Texas and downtown Austin.)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I crashed informally at the house of some new acquaintances for a few days in Austin, TX summer 2010. We ended up building a two-story couch fort for me to sleep in, which became the bed for any number of people over the next few weeks. My hosts became good friends, and helped me find a place to surf in Orlando, FL as well, where I and a friend stayed with musicians and recording artists who gave us a great introduction to the city.

Everything. Biking, art, music, hugs, exploring, talking, meeting, smiling, learning, psychoanalyzing, contemplating, wondering, reading, writing, playing, drawing, being. Etc.

Being part of a flash mob; living and filming at co-ops and intentional communities across the country and seeing a better, more human way to connect; everything, every day, every minute. There is no end to awesome experiences.

教，学，和分享

I can write, sing, play piano, speak Italian, infect with enthusiasm, fight and dance a little, and make paper cranes. I would like to learn just about everything - how to speak other languages, how to better fix bikes, how to travel the world on a dollar a day.
