I am a recent college graduate. I studied Marine Biology in Hawaii for three years. My goal is to ultimately train marine mammals with the National Marine Mammal Program. I have lived in 5 different states, and Hawaii was by far my favorite place I have lived. However, there are plenty of things that I loved about Texas, Georgia, California, and Florida. If you have any interest in visiting those places I can give you a few pointers. My mom is Colombian and my dad is French. I love going to Colombia to visit my family, but I have yet to visit France.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have decided to take a gap year between graduation and entering the work force, so I could travel for several months. Traveling has always been a passion of mine and backpacking Europe is one of my biggest goals.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the most amazing experiences of my life was when I was living on Oahu. I hiked the Haiku Stairs in the middle of the night. The hike is a series of almost 4,000 stairs alongside the side of the Koolau Mountian range. It's also known as Stairway to Heaven. If you have no idea what this is you should research it. It is the most breathtaking view of the island once the sun rises.

I am more than willing to help any of those who want to practice their English. I am currently looking to practice my Spanish. While I am comfortable with understanding and speaking the language, I could always use the practice to perfect it.
