About Me

CURRENT MISSION

be happy

ABOUT ME

Left Perth for a wander around the world in 96. Been living the last 5 years in the Middle East. Back in Perth now to sleep!
I like to do stuff. Up for anything. Have scuba license, motorbike license, pilots license, car license, travel license and license to kill (ok I don't have the pilots license).
I have been living in Canada since march 2017 with my hubby.

PHILOSOPHY

Boredom creates creativity. You should listen to some of the thoughts running thro my head on an overnight 24 hour Bolivian bus ride. Scary but great ideas come to me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Don't litter!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Tried surfing couches and surfboards. But I am too last minute to plan a couch, but love to meet up with others to explore new places or chat.

Interests

I will try anything once, twice if I like it. Thrice if you are paying!
Squash, bball, swimming, movies, exploring on my bicycle, outdoor stuff.
Me, my backpack and a new destination, altho I am getting a little slower and may need a young, cute, muscly guy to start carrying my backpack for me, and I found one.

Music, Movies, and Books

Love movies, music and books. Need them all especially waiting for a bus, train, plane, camel, donkey.....

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Treat others the way you want to be treated.
I was given a piece of dirt floor in a hut, in a village in the middle of nowhere in Mozambique in the pitch dark, after the truck I hitched a ride in broke down. They had nothing, but offered as much as they could, which was home brewed beer, not too tasty, but I washed it down with a smile while sitting around the campfire!

Teach, Learn, Share

I have stayed in a lot of hostels and cardboard boxes around the world, and shared rooms with a lot of interesting, crazy, scary, funny and lifelong friends.

Countries I’ve Visited

Argentina, Austria, Bahamas, Bahrain, Belize, Bolivia, Botswana, Brazil, Bulgaria, Cambodia, Canada, Chile, China, Costa Rica, Cuba, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Ecuador, Egypt, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Guatemala, Honduras, Hungary, India, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Jordan, Kenya, Laos, Latvia, Lebanon, Lithuania, Madagascar, Malawi, Malaysia, Mauritius, Mexico, Monaco, Morocco, Mozambique, Namibia, Nepal, Netherlands, New Caledonia, New Zealand, Nicaragua, Norway, Oman, Peru, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russian Federation, Singapore, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, Sri Lanka, Sweden, Switzerland, Syrian Arab Republic, Taiwan, Tanzania, Thailand, Turkey, Uganda, United States, Vanuatu, Vatican City State, Viet Nam, Yemen, Zambia, Zimbabwe
