CURRENT MISSION

To expand my mind with new cultures and experiences, learn new languages, and meet new friends :). I traveled a lot throughout my studies, living in Tokyo, Madrid and Berlin and now I'm traveling South America to improve my Spanish and make new connections.

ABOUT ME

Hi there! I'm Aurora and it's a pleasure to meet you. Hablo inglés y español :). Since a young age, I realized travel expands oneself so much and allows you to grow outside of your comfort-zone. Ever since, I have tried my best to seize every moment and jump at the opportunity to explore. I am very social and love to have conversation, especially ones that have a lot of meaning. That said, I also very much like to have all kinds of fun with good company. I tend to get along with most people and I try my best to be as judgement free and open-minded as possible. I think the world would be such a better place if we were able to learn from people's experiences as opposed to disregard it because they are different from our own.

I love conversations, going out drinking, dancing, laughing, music, animals, and trying new things. I love making friends from all over the world, learning new languages, and continuing to work towards improving myself as a person through my journeys.

PHILOSOPHY

Never stop improving yourself, but also be able to breathe and have fun. I believe in traveling, both internationally and within yourself (inner-knowledge), and developing yourself as a person through your experiences. Learning to love life and have fun is part of improving yourself :).

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have traveled all over the world and want to continue to work all learning all kinds of difference languages. I lived in the International House at my university and I have friends I visit and who visit me from all over :). I truly adore culture, people, conversation, and language, so couch surfing is an incredible opportunity to branch out of my social networks and meet other travelers with stories of their own!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have yet to have the opportunity to formally host couchsurfers, but I have had many, many friends stay with be over the years. I couchsurfed in Eastern Asia and had such an incredible time, staying with families, partiers, and all kinds of different people. I also try and go to couch-surfing events because I think it's a great way to meet loads of great people at once.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

I'm very flexible when it comes to all media. If you were to look at my bookshelf, iPod, or movie folders, you would see a whole lot of variation. I also tend to read whatever I find on my travels and what people show me. I love singing and dancing along with music and listening to songs in other languages.

There's no way I could just pick one or two. I'll have to think about this. I am always awestruck by the people I meet though.

I think I am pretty good at talking to people in English and explaining the language. If you want to practice English, I think I will be able to help you out! I am also told I'm a very good person to talk to; people tend to feel very comfortable with me very quickly.

Travel stories, laughter, good conversation, and as many hours of entertainment as I can spare. I always love to chat, so message me for whatever reason and don't feel like you are ever bothering me. Also, I love practicing languages with people, whether it be practicing my spanish or japanese, or helping with English.
