I'm an enthusiastic hunting, fishing, motorbike riding, car loving person who works on the family sheep station at home until I go overseas. I really enjoy fine wine and craft beers and love a good scotch. I worked on a vineyard since size 19 in various guises. I met my now girlfriend of 4 years (Sophie) as well in the first vineyard I worked on.

I was a Vineyard Worker, then a Tractor Driver. Then advanced to Head Tractor Driver before deciding I had better get some proper skills in the industry since I enjoyed it so much. Went to school in the South Island, met heaps of great friends, got my diploma and fell head first into Wine making. Been doing that for several years now, and now I'm taking that across the world to begin wine making in other places during the busy harvest season.

I just enjoy life. I enjoy making new friends, and I enjoy learning.

To meet the locals. How can you get a first hand opinion or immersion of a place by living in hotels all the time?There's just no soul to the experience, I think Sophie and I just want a way to cheaply see the world and get a helping hand by genuine people who want to get to know us and to give us the best shot at making the best of our time in the area.

Wine making, at least in the hired help sectors, tends to pay rather poorly. So that is a driving factor behind us, but we save well, so hopefully we get to do some things we like and drink the local wines and beers.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

Eclectic mix of musical taste. I like good metal that isn't too heavy and then rock that isn't soft haha. I'll listen to everything though. Chillstep to Thrash.

Movies include Snatch, Lock Stock, Grandmas Boy, Hot Rod, Shawshank Redemption, The Worlds Fastest Indian, Fight Club, Troy, Ted. Funny is good, Serious is good and usually a true story is pretty good. Anything goes.

My favourite book is called the Gun Seller by Hugh Laurie, other than that I enjoyed Harry Potter and the LOTR series, as any person who reads books would do. I haven't really read many books lately.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

Roared a stag up to around 10m away while hunting with my now deceased brother and one of my best friends. The feeling of having a full grown stag hunting you down quickly while you try to find it first is something else. It'll be one of the fondest hunting memories I'll have until I die.
