I love movies - especially horror movies! A lot of people are surprised to see the size of my film collection or to find out how many silly random facts I know about films :p

The horror genre in general is something I really enjoy. Stephen King is by far my favorite author. Survival horror video games are the most fun, even if I can only manage to play them for an hour or so before getting too freaked out!

I'm a huge fan of travel - even just a simple road trip for the day is fun! It's nice to break the norm and go explore. I am really hoping to get out of the country more, and to other continents!

I'd say I'm a pretty laid back and friendly person. Making new friends is easy for me, as soon as the ice is broken. It's not hard for me to find common interests with people, or if there aren't many, to take interest in learning about the things others find enjoyable.

I love to travel, and the idea of reducing the cost is always important. I'm constantly comparing hotel rates right up until I go (which is why I usually book hotels that allow cancellation until the day of...you never know what deal you'll find the night before that might save you $100!)

But...what if I could eliminate the lodging cost entirely? On a 4 day trip, that could save me over $400...that's huge. That's more money to actually get out and explore and do the things I traveled for. Why waste so much money on a spot to sleep...all I'm going to do is sleep!

The ability to meet locals more easily is also a huge bonus. I've traditionally traveled with friends and family, but I really enjoy the thought of solo travel. It might give me a new sense of self, and also makes it easier to meet new people when I have nobody else with me.

I'm a bit basic with music...haha...I tend to gravitate toward top 40 stuff. I really enjoy 80s pop and rock, and have a ton of random songs from different genres. I don't mind the occasional country song, but it's not often you'll find me listening to rap or heavy metal.

My absolute favorite books would be The Shining, Misery, the Hunger Games series, and To Kill a Mockingbird.

I can't even begin to break down my favorite movies. That's definitely a conversation we should have in person because it could get quite lengthy!

I ziplined over the Montmorency waterfall in Quebec City. It was terrifying at the first initial leap...but then it was so exhilarating and amazing. I'd definitely do it again...and it was only $25!!

My love for movies is extreme. I will definitely find a movie you haven't seen and convince you to watch it. I have around 900 movies on my hard drive, so there's ALWAYS something to pick from!
