I'm an American who's been living in France for almost four years now. I absolutely love to travel, to meet new people and discover new things.

I want to travel low-budget, but I also want to meet real people! I want to learn from locals, I want more authentic experiences and to make new friends in all sorts of places. I want to encounter new cultures right in people's homes, as I find that staying a local's home is unlike any other experience. I want to share my culture as well, with anyone who would enjoy it.

Additionally, the ideology behind CS is inherently good, IMO. Why not choose an anti-materialist and authentic option that brings out the good in people and encourages us to share?
