I am a language nerd who is studying French in France. I know, kind blowing, but I'm having a blast here. I'm kind of new to the whole couchsurfing thing even though I spent a full week in bretagne doing so with a friend. I'm looking to explore this big ball of water we call earth.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love exploring. Just the travelling makes me excited, but you know, you got to sleep somewhere, and sleeping somewhere where there is a nice stranger who is willing to share their stories with me sounds just about right.

Interests

Language (any and all forms), dance (open to learn all forms but pretty good at blues and lindyhop), football/soccer, cultures of other countries, wine, biking, hiking, white water rafting (never done but sounds terrifyingly cool).

Music, Movies, and Books

For music, I like literally anything, from Eminem to Cro, and from Stromae to Bon Iver.
For books, I really prefer sci-fi/fantasy stuff but I have also really gotten into French Literature like L'étranger and Vol de Nuit.
For movies, I love the classics, 1930s black-and-white American cinema.

Well I'm studying to be a teacher and I have been a dance instructor before so I can effectively teach dancing and I try my best to teach the languages I know. Other than actual teaching, I know a heck of a lot about football.

I am super curious about other cultures and I love talking about anything one might be interested in. I could go on forever about aspirated consonants, the most recent Paris Saint-German game, or even Donald Trump. Name it and I will explain it if I can.
