ABOUT ME

I am a Tour Director in Alaska during the summers, leading two week tours with old people, showing them how amazing and beautiful the state is! I also work a remarkably flexible job as a substitute teacher which gives me the opportunity to travel and adventure a bit. I am currently seeking full-time, salaried employment as a history instructor and working nights as a bartender.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Have surfed in the continental US, Hawaii and Canada. Have hosted in Tacoma, WA and Gig Harbor and always looking to get plugged in to whatever local stuff there is.

I was in a rollover car accident while touring Patagonia.

I almost drowned in Paraty, Brasil

While working in Alaska I have had coaches break down, guests break arms, and been stranded due to black bear attacks.

In sum, I'm generally bad luck.
