PHILOSOPHY

The only thing I'm sure of is that there are no simple answers to anything, so I tend to see things in shades of grey. I try to live with awareness of both myself and of others. When friends are around me, I want them to feel as though they can be exactly as they are, and never censor their thoughts, words, or emotions.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

This is my first time CouchSurfing! Based on what I've heard from friends and from the people I've met who've done it in the past, it seems to be an amazing opportunity both to travel and to become connected to a new place.

True to my Portland and San Francisco roots, I mostly listen to the typical IndieRock fare, but I enjoy most genres. I'm never above blasting Top 40 hits. The movies I watch are usually "arty," but I try to mix it up with the occasional mindless action thriller. My favorite book is Lolita by Vladimir Nabokov.
