ABOUT ME

I was born and raised in South Africa.
I then came to France for my studies, coming from South Africa I lived a life in a bubble, so the European experience was life-changing.

I studied Engineering Science in Rennes, which I enjoyed because Rennes is a really nice students town with many cultural activities and good people to meet...

I am now back in South Africa, I moved to Cape Town, incredible city!

Next: I'll see where the winds take me! Possibly Portugal!

PHILOSOPHY

We think of ourselves far too frequently as just individuals, separated from one another, whereas we are connected and what we do affects the whole world around us. When you do well, it spreads out; it is for the whole of humanity

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Help people out and get the same in return, meet new people...

I've been moving around a lot recently so was not hosting people regularly, but now that I am settled again, I guess I can host anybody who wants to come by!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I first experienced couch surfing when travelling through Belgium and The Netherlands with a classmate. I discovered what a great network this is!
Since then I have accepted many travellers.
I started the CouchSurfing experience as a host in Boston a few years ago. I lived with two roommates and we regularly had people over from all over the world sleeping in our lounge and going out around Boston with us!
I have had only very positive experiences!

兴趣

You'll generally find me in the mountain hiking, paragliding, or in the studio doing ceramics.
I love travelling, going to the craziest places on earth, discovering new cultures,
sports (swimming, kitesurfing, paragliding...)
I am open to all kinds of music and always happy to discover new styles & rhythms...
I enjoy cooking, mainly vegetarian food, but I do enjoy a good 'braai' once in a while!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I am currently doing a lot of paragliding, which I guess is my new passion!
I have been to many places, my favourite experiences were backpacking in Vietnam and Bolivia, and working part of a humanitarian association in a remote village in Madagascar.

I have travelled quite a lot, so I can give you some advice from some of my trips!
