ABOUT ME

They would tell you all about what a kind, quiet, interesting, clean person I am because they want to help me get on your couch! ... Actually they'd probably tell you that I'm interested in a lot of stuff, maybe too nice, fun, funny (this one I hope they say). They'd probably tell you my head is in the clouds.

PHILOSOPHY

I am most engaged in life when I see/hear/experience great art (business not excluded). When I get to engage with people who are interested in the unanswerable questions of life. Mostly when I get to laugh with people though. I spend a lot of time reading and writing and thinking. When I contact you I will be in the middle of a road trip - so I will be driving quite a bit.

I'm a big fan of books, even though I'm an amazingly slow reader. Emerson's Essays; Letters from a Stoic; Stranger from a Strange Land by Heinlein; Dune by Herbert; Ender's Game (and everything else by Orson Scott Card); Thus Spoke Zarathustra and Beyond Good and Evil by Nietzsche; Calvin and Hobbes; Steve Jobs by Walter Isaacson; Anything by Alan Watts; You Are The World by Krishnamurti; ... I've spent most of my time on non-fiction but I'm changing that bit by bit.

I'm much less picky when it comes to music. Make Yourself by Incubus was my first favorite album and still is. I like Bob Dylan and then I like all that stuff you hate on the radio. And all the stuff you don't like off the radio. I'm kind of a music slut.

I don't think it's best to talk about them in public... but okay.
1. Seeing the Dark Knight Rises trailer on an IMAX screen.
2. Going to Rome for the first time and being in the middle of ancient epicness.

This is really tough. I'm left awestruck a lot. I think it's important to keep a sense of awe with you throughout life.
