Call me Kyle

I'm probably not the wildest guy in the world. But if anything, I always make it my personal responsibility to make sure that if I'm hosting anyone, they are super comfy, feel very welcome, and have a fantastic time.

In my spare time I enjoy the arts. Listening to and making music (playing guitar mostly), reading, writing, talking, movies, musical performances and the like.

I'm always open to new things.

I want to help others find places to stay and learn about the local region while they travel here in Eugene.

I've hosted many, many folks and surfed only a little bit.

I love to: ride my bicycle, go on photography adventures with my 35mm, listen to and record music, have a good meal with a good drink with good company, watch funny movies, read, and go to concerts.

I like funny movies and any movie with meaningless action.

I listen to anything with a guitar. I especially like to listen to acoustic rock and reggae. Dave Matthews Band, John Mayer, Slightly Stoopid, Pepper, Sublime, the Expendables, Mad Caddies, Bob Marley, 10 Foot Ganja Plant, Jack Johnson(sometimes), Incubus, Strokes, Weezer, RATM, and whatever.

I bought mexican food from the back of a van at a construction site in mexico once. That was cool.

I hiked Smith Rock in Bend, Oregon. Also really cool.

I caught and ate a fish off the coast of Cabo San Lucas once.

Bungee jumped on Mt. Hood in Oregon as well as the highest point to jump in North America in south Washington State.

Traveled on a bicycle from Vancouver, BC to the border of Oregon.
